Although the coanda screens are predominantly “self cleaning” small particles of peat seem to be particularly susceptible to catching in the screen mesh. Volunteers visit the site on a weekly basis to¬†sweep the screens at the primary and secondary intakes.

The tree enclosures which were built during the winter have now been planted with a mixture of broadleaf native trees. All the trees appear to have taken and the site is beginning to green up nicely.
